Who are we?

Located in Birtley, County Durham, 6 miles South of Newcastle upon Tyne. We are experienced, specialist Italian coffee and commercial Espresso coffee machine importers and distributors. We are a wholesale company selling to the trade, a comprehensive range of the best ingredients and equipment available in the beverage industry. We repair and service most brands of commercial traditional espresso machines and can give you sound advice regarding which coffee machine is best for your premises. We also lease commercial coffee machines subject to status, supply fully maintained coffee machine rentals, lease rentals and purchase and free loan (full details available on request).

Founded in 1948, our business has grown through reputation and most of our clients have come to us from recommendation. Our client list includes Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Deli's, Local authorities, Theatres, Golf clubs, Kid's play centres, Art galleries and Health clubs. 

We import 3 brands of authentic Italian Espresso coffee from Procaffe S.p.A. who are globally revered as master Italian coffee roasters and have been perfecting espresso blends since 1919. Using only the highest quality coffee beans and roasting them at their premises in Belluno, Italy translates into a range of gourmet coffees that are perfectly balanced. Utilising tradition, their techniques and knowledge produce perfection in the cup - consistently! We import precision engineered WEGA coffee machines directly from Italy and are proud to have Wega factory trained engineers to look after our clients machines. Wega is one of the largest manufacturers in the world and are renowned for quality, reliability and robustness as well as innovative design and value for money. 1 in every 4 coffee machines in Italy is a WEGA! 

To offer the complete package our equipment specialities are: commercial Espresso coffee machines, Filter coffee machines, Bulk brew equipment, Grinders, Blenders, Ice cream, Frozen drinks and Granita machines. The best Italian coffee blends in beans, ground and pods by Bristot and premium award winning Teas from Birchall/ Imporient are our mainstays, accompanied by Hot chocolate powders, Milkshake powders, Frappe powders, Syrups, Biscuits, Wafers, Sugars, Sweeteners, Chocolates, Ice Cream mixes and Disposable cups and stirrers. We also sell everything you need for your machine too! Be it a Tamper, Water softener, Cleaner, Descaler or replacement parts such as a filter basket or a knock out drawer. 

Within our trade area (see "how we do it" for details), our dedicated factory trained service engineers can keep your machine in excellent working order and can take care of any repairs or servicing needs using our fleet of well stocked vehicles and workshop based in Birtley, County Durham. 6 miles South of Newcastle Upon Tyne, just off the Angel of the North exit on the A1. 

Call Outs are available Monday to Friday 8am till 4:30pm. We offer great discounts on repairs and servicing for customers who purchase their coffee and consumables from us.
